Antigone, critical quarterly of the criminal justice and correctional system, is the journal promoted by the homonymous Italian association. It has a distinguished precedent (the namesake bimonthly critical of emergency in criminal law promoted to the mid-eighties of the last century by personalities of the Italian culture such as Massimo Cacciari, Luigi Ferrajoli, Luigi Manconi , Mauro Palma and Rossana Rossanda ), and a cultural and scientific frame of reference, identifiable in the tradition of the Italian critical criminology, philosophy and sociology of law. The journal serves as a deepening space of topics in the interest of the association and as a vehicle of dissemination of studies and research carried out in its scope and by its contributors. After a monographic section dedicated to issues choosen by the editorial staff and set up also through specific call for papers, follow sections reserved to regulatory updates, and to the review of books, films and other forms of cultural production on the criminal justice and correctional system.
